Alleluia! Alleluia!

1.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Hearts to heav’n and voices raise;
Sing to God a hymn of gladness,
Sing to God a hymn of praise.
He who one the cross as Savior
For the world’s salvation bled,
Jesus Christ, the King of Glory,
Now is risen from the dead.

2.
Now the iron bars are broken,
Christ from death to life is born,
Glorious life, and life immortal
On this resurrection morn;
Christ has triumphed and we conquer
By his mighty enterprise,
We with him to life eternal
By his resurrection rise.

Hymn Tune: Hymn of Joy

Text: Christopher Wordsworth

Alleluia! Alleuia! Let the Holy Anthem Rise

Easer Altar - St. Alfred Parish in Taylor, MI 2008

1.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Let the holy anthem rise,
And the choirs of heaven chant it
In the temple of the skies;
Let the mountains skip with gladness,
And the joyful valleys ring
With hosannas in the highest
To our Savior and our King!

2.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Like the sun from out the wave,
He is risen up in triumph
From the darkness of the grave.
He’s the splendor of the nations,
He’s the lamp of endless day;
He’s the very Lord of glory
Who is risen up today!

3.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Blessed Jesus, make us rise
From the life of this corruption
To the life that never dies.
May your glory be our portion,
When the days of time are past,
And the dead shall be awakened
By the trumpet’s mighty blast!

Immaculate Mary

1.
Immaculate Mary,
Your praises we sing.
You reign now in heaven
With Jesus our King.

AVE, AVE,
AVE MARIA!
AVE, AVE, MARIA!

2,
In haven the blessed
Your glory proclaim;
On earth we your children
Invoke your fair name.

3.
We pray for our Mother,
The Church upon earth,
And bless, Holy Mary,
The Land of our Birth.

Hymn Tune: Lourdes Melody
Meter: 11 11 with refrain
Text: Jeremiah Cummings
Uses: Feasts of Blessed Mother, Immaculate Conception

Angels from the Realms of Glory

1.
Angels, from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o’er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation’s story,
Now proclaim Messiah’s birth:

COME AND WORSHIP,
COME AND WORSHIP,
WORSHIP CHRIST,
THE NEWBORN KING.

2.
Shepherds, in the fields abiding,
Watching o’er your flocks by night,
God on earth is now residing;
Yonder shines the infant light:

3.
Sages, leave your contemplations,
Brighter visions beam afar;
Seek the great Desire of Nations,
Ye have seen his natal star;

4.
Though an infant now we view him,
He shall fill his Father’s throne,
Gather all the nations to him;
Ev’ry knee shall then bow down.

5.
All creation, join in praising
God, the father, Spirit, Son,
Evermore your voices raising,
To the eternal Three in One:

Hymn Tune: Regent Square

For All The Saints

1.
For all the saints,
Who from their labors rest,
Who you by faith
Before the world confessed,
Your name, O Jesus,
Be forever blest.

ALLELUIA!
ALLELUIA!

2.
O blest communion,
Fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle,
They in glory sine;
Yet all are one
Within your great design.

3.
The golden evening
Brightens in the west:
Soon to they loyal
Faithful comes their rest:
Sweet is the calm
Of Paradise so blest.

4.
But lo! There breaks
A yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant
Rise in bright array;
The King of Glory
Passes on his way.

5.
From earth’s wide bounds,
From ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of heav’n
Streams in the countless host;
Singing to Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.

Text: Will W. How
Hymn tune: Sine Nomine
Meter: 10 10 10 with Alleluia

Uses: All Saints

Beautiful Savior

1.
Beautiful savior,
King of creation,
Son of God and Son of Man!
Truly I'd love Thee,
Truly I'd serve Thee,
Light of my soul, my my joy, my crown.

2.
Fair are the meadows,
Fair are the woodlands,
Robed in flow'rs of blooming spring;
Jesus is fairer,
Jesus is purer;
He makes our sorrowing spirit sing.

3.
Fair is the sunshine,
fair is the moonlight,
Bright the sparkling stars on high;
Jesus shines brighter,
Jesus shines purer,
Than all the angels in the sky.

4.
Beautiful Savior,
Lord of the nations,
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor,
Praise, adoration,
Now and forevermore be Thine!

Hymn Tune: St. Elizabeth
